No!... these bulbs aren't meant to be part of your Sunday roast, but you can be forgiven for thinking so. These carrot like black bulbs will amaze you at what they produce, lots of delicate slightly fragrant flowers in an array of cheerful colours. The flowers which tend to open in late afternoon give the plant the name of '4 o'clock' plant. Their leaves can wither in strong sunlight and then surprise you by recovering as the sun sets.
